Looking for Something to Do This Weekend in Pitt County? Look No Further...It's Figapalooza!

Yes, you read that right. Figapalooza. It's exactly as fun as it sounds, and it's happening right here in Greenville this Saturday.

Figapalooza 2026 Returns to Greenville

If figs, gardening, and good old-fashioned local community sound like your kind of Saturday morning, mark your calendar. Figapalooza 2026 lands at the Eastern Carolina Village & Farm Museum on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. — and best of all, it's completely free.

Whether you're a serious gardener, a fig fanatic, a plant collector, or just someone looking for a fun, low-key family outing, this one's worth the trip.

What to Expect

This isn't just a table of figs (although there will absolutely be plenty of those). Figapalooza brings out the best of local agriculture and community spirit, with:

• Fresh figs, fig plants, jams, jellies, baked goods, and every fig-themed product you didn't know you needed
• Local vendors and artisans showing off what they do best
• Educational talks and tips for growing your own figs at home
• Kids' activities and raffle prizes to round out the day

Basically, it's a little bit farmers market, a little bit gardening workshop, and a little bit community festival — all rolled into one fig-forward morning.
